There are a couple of things that you can do to help yourself get started on your honeymoon.

1.  Get a passport.  A passport is required for all travel outside the United States, with the exception of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.  A passport is required for cruises unless they have a round-trip itinerary to a US city.  For example, a cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Rome requires a passport.  A cruise that is round-trip Fort Lauderdale does not.  We HIGHLY RECOMMEND a passport because if you get into trouble in Cozumel and miss the ship, you'll need one to get home.

2.  Start thinking about what you'd like to do and when you'd like to go.

3.  Start saving up your deposit.  Typically, there will be a $400 deposit, plus airfare at the time of booking.  A final payment is due 45 days prior to departure.
